Challenge: An Ohio church was concerned about a high energy supply rate after comparing to a church of the same size in their region. The church attempted to follow the energy market to understand why their rate was higher, but after some frustration, decided that they needed to seek an energy expert to provide guidance. Solution: Our network provided an analysis of their energy spend and showed where they stood in the market. The projected costs if they stayed with their current supplier would likely increase due to a variable rate and the current market outlook. Commercial Energy Network then identified ideal market timing and a supplier and term which offered the church a fixed rate 5% lower than what they were currently paying for both natural gas and electricity. Savings: Our network delivered savings of 5% on their natural gas and electric expenses. Which amounted to over $3,500 for the length of the 24-month term - allowing the church to able to invest in new seating for their main hall.
